Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama , or Florida??

Got Family that live in Florida, but, it looks too crowded, and the traffic looks like a Nightmare !!

LA and MS are head to head imo. La has us beat though in variety and just the amount of game however.

Certainly not freakin Florida. One of the reasons I left. Great when growing up in the 70's.
I had to send out $3500 per month to break even in florida. For that kind of money i could have bought a lakefront home here in SC.
Hunting is good, fishing is great, trapping sucks, heat sucks, overcrowded . Sarge

Ms. probably has the more lax regulation's/laws. Maybe cost of living as well.

Not Florida. I've spent the last two winters here. Trash along the roads is what bothers me. And too many people.
Lots of Polk Country rednecks that don't have trash service so they bring it into town and dump it just anywhere. Old tires and furniture is a big problem. It costs to get rid of it properly so they just dump it on the edge of a road at night and it becomes the city/county's problem.

Benson you sure your not talking about Alabama? Every creek that goes under a wooden bridge on a back road has more appliance's in them than a maytag show room.

Alabama by far is ahead in almost all the categories followed by Mississippi. Louisiana is the best IMO, but you would be hard pressed to buy here what you could in Alabama or Mississipi. If you do come here, everything south of I10 is completely different culture, it's great man.

Just driving thru I like Kentucky and Tennessee country but no idea about living there.

Arkansas has lots of great places to live. Plenty of mountainous terrain or mosquito infested delta to pick from. But we are the 8th highest taxed state.

Yes move to La. south of I 10, hahahaha. Another planet is more like it down there, they like to party and eat ditch bugs though, lol.

You will find other critters down south that are not in NY. Like gators, water moccassins, chiggers, snapping turtles most of the year. And lots of rednecks who are not fond of us Yankees!

Virginia has the worst traffic outside of Boston, Massachusetts. I did the research on it.

Haha, the southerners couldn’t drive me out of the south but the sweat running down the crack of my butt finally did.

Mississippi is safe now that my mother in law no longer lives there.
