Was watching bill dance outdoor today and bill is fighting a fish when the cameras caught a glimpse of some poor dude hanging on for dear life on a snag Don’t know if camera crew fell in or what but bill didn’t go to help him !

I used to have an autographed copy of his book. He encouraged me to keep fishing.

I'm sorry to see him go. May he rest in peace. I don't know all his personal flaws, but I respect the work he did much more than some no-singin, side-show clown calling himself "Meatloaf" that so many people claim to have loved so dearly.

My question is why set a shill on a snag? Wouldn't it be a whole lot easier to just have him in another boat? Seems there must be multiple boats at times for various camera angles? Huh.

The guy is likely there to get a shot of Bill Dance masterfully casting right next to the wood. If you watch the full video, I would be surprised if a shot like that is not in there.
