Good luck. Sounds like a lot of fun. I get excited over a scrawny whitetail shed. Can't imagine what it would be like for find a big ole moose shed.
Poor people have poor ways.

I have been blessed to have found a pile of whitetail, an elk, and mule deer shed, but ,y most coveted shed is a moose shed I found in Maine. I was up there bear hunting for the second year and had tagged a bear on the first evening. I tagged along with a couple guide friends the rest of the week running bear baits, taking clients out to stand every evening, and then some moose scouting. We were scouting this one bog area as I was trudging through the bog I tripped over what I thought was a small stump. It ended up being a moose shed that had settled into the muck. I pulled it out of the muck and washed it in a nearby brook. I guess since it had been in the muck the color was preserved nice and chocolate with no chews. I drew my moose tag the next year and got to hunt some of the same area we had scouted.
