Something tells me you’ll see a couple before the week is out. Can’t get them on my own and only mess them up when I do! Hahaha Fox season end here in two weeks and misses like these are hard to swallow.

So what did you learn from this? My takeaway from this is to sift less natural material over my set. What kind of corrections have you got for a young trapper?

And develop a system that fits your style. And be willing to learn from your mistakes And adapt to changing conditions. I think you got a handle on it young man Waiting for the catch pic.

trap828 ,, Folks have asked what your take away was! Do not fret,,, it will be back! Guaranteed! Just a lucky dog. So your take away is. ,,,, “he’ll be back”! Shall I embarrass myself? For the sake of humility and an attempt to be humble myself I suppose I will. I’m assuming this is the same fox that I got a visit from two nights ago. It worked my set from the right side avoiding my trap placement entirely. It returned last night and tapped danced on both sets I had made in this area. So I brushed the top off of them, little antifreeze and light coating of waxed dirt. Feathered everything around with a broom. Caught a female red in this area a couple days ago and I’m assuming this is her mate. So today I placed some scat and urine I harvested from her at both set. Hopefully this will get the job done. I’ve been told the third times the charm anyways!
