Currently I just use ground up castor, how does one use the oil sacs? Ground, or just squeeze in with the castor? What about willow sawdust in with the mixture (no poplar around here)?

We use the sac oil by itself YJ. Keep it way from the castor and use it as a change up.

Just squirt in a separate jar I'm assuming?

I've had great success with Dale Billingsley Brand Lures in Chips or Cypress Breaks.

Also....ADC makes a great beaver lure too, that is thick and heavy castor based..

Most effective lure Ive found is to keep the castors and sac oil from ONE beaver in a seperate jar. Use as needed.

So, do you add anything, or just grind up castor from one beaver, and then squeeze the oil in?

Just cut the castors up in small pieces in their juice and squeeze the sac oil on em.

That sac oil is the best stuff you can use to pull in the last 1 or 2 beavers.

Can you mix sac oil from different beaver together?

It is more blessed to give than to receive

If you’re already using Backbreaker, dobbins pro plus and Carman’s Beaver No. 1 are both proven

Yes. I squeeze all them into one bottle. If I get too much on hand, I've traded it to lure makers for "store credit".

IMO, any castor-based scent is effective to catch beaver. When that don't work anymore, sack oil or Woodchipper has worked for me almost every time.

Must be nice to eat ice cream as fast as you want and not have to worry about brain freeze.
