For the week? Or for good? Quit trapping........that area haha. I had to use click bait. If i go two weeks without a cat, then I pull. So 2 weeks was last saturday so i pulled mid week and will set a new area this Saturday.
If traps work like the Antis say......I would have no fingers.

Very good video,who do you think does the most trap stealing out in the middle of a desert? In one area I trap it’s normally hikers, antis, or bird hunters. They are always in that range. Where these traps were stolen it had to of been trappers. The only people hiking around here are sheep hunters (season is over), predator callers/spotlighters, and trappers. These sets were in locations not frequented by sheep, and away from the roads so predator hunters wouldn’t be around it. Spotlighters may have seen eyes in the first one but that would mean I would have caught something and there was no catch circles. But both spots were obvious bobcat spots that any trapper would set. So my guess is someone when to set our scout the area to set later and found them. I let the game warden know what traps were taken since they are tagged just in case they turn up somewhere set illegally.
If traps work like the Antis say......I would have no fingers.

I like your videos but gotta ask, when checking traps you don't ever carry gear with.
Why? Normally mid week I’m just checking. So I just take my catchpole. Most of the checking is at night and I’m already get home at 10 or 11pm so I don’t relure my sets. If I need to relure, I do that on Saturdays. That’s why I normally have my bag on my back on Saturday checks. I also don’t relure sets every Saturday. I try to freshen up my sets every two weeks.

Yes they do, but it’s all part of trapping public land and since we have over 85% of our state public land, you have to expect it to happen some each season
