That is a Noble fir.
They are found in the cascade mountain range between 3000-5000 feet in elevation, from central Washington south through Oregon and just barely into California.
Probably the most sought after Christmas tree in the region, and most expensive too (if you have to buy one).

Very nice. I guess I haven't been that far west.

Life ain't supposed to be easy.

Mine stays in the woods and alive. I don't even know where it is.
I personally have no interest in killing a perfectly good tree for
the purpose of increasing the chances of my house burning down.
Fake ones look like crap to me. Plus I don't have room.

I have 125 and 180 gallon aquariums where the tree would be if I was to have one.

We have a small home so we have a small tree. My wife picked it out, I think she did a fine job.
Merry Christmas everyone.

Tell me and I'll forget. Show me, and I may not remember. Involve me, and I'll understand.

When you earnestly believe you can compensate for a lack of skill by doubling your efforts, there's no end to what you can't do.

No ornaments yet
My youngest daughter, son n law and two Grandkids came over to check on me after surgery. They saw my tree was still outside. So the put it up this far. I can handle the ornaments.

I'm using the Big bulb lights I had given my Uncle who just passed away. This year to honor him.

Beaver fur skirt, star of chews with lighted swarm. Lots of feathers, furs, skulls, and mouse traps.

If I can make it myself, I will!

Grab now, grade later.
