Nice, I gotta lab six years ago for our annual Iowa trip. Had her trained by a local guy. All I heard was gotta get good bloodline, champion parents, blah, blah. She is a family dog first, comes to the shop everyday with me. She is a flat out beast out there and you better never leave her in the truck to rest a field. Battered and beaten she goes. I love bird dogs and yours looks sweat!

Thanks y’all! She put on a show. My shootin was lacking…sun was in my eyes, but she went on point 20 minutes later on the other side of a swamp and it took forever for me to get around there. And there before her was the bird I thought I missed. I could of kissed her…Aw shucks I did.

I’m also jealous that you have birds to hunt. Here in my part of Virginia the grouse are almost nonexistent. When my setter and I go out it’s more like a hike in the woods. Eric
