This would be the view from mail coming from Kingman Arizona to Missouri. Mail going the opposite way only takes 3 days. Evidently a month isn’t enough time to get it here. Maybe it’s not lost in the mail. Maybe it’s not let’s give it another week. Maybe it’s not you know I’m good for it. Maybe it’s not I’ll send a money order certified mail return receipt. Maybe it’s not your pecans sure are good.
Maybe it is your just forgetful. Maybe it is the windmill effect where the laws of gravity cease to exist and mail just floats away. Maybe it is that I went out of my way to get you pecans before thanksgiving and took your word for it you were promptly sending payment.

I think I choose to think your just forgetful and it was a slight oversight on your part.
But know this about me: if I can find my way to a little town in Louisiana that was wiped from existence by a hurricane, it will be a piece of cake to get to Kingman Arizona. My route calculator says 19.5 hours. 20.3 if I take the scenic route. I just can’t hardly stomach a thief.
