Dont store it in a sealed container. Not true. The 'secret' is to remove the moisture, that's what causes the mold when you seal it. I have gallons and gallons of fox, bobcat and coyote dropping, all sealed tight as a drum in both glass gallon and plastic jars. No mold. It first has to be dried on screen and dried completely, that takes a bit. It's 100% effective if done right. Want to re-hydrate ? Rain water in a small container , add droppings, rotate back and forth , open the lid and pour it where you want. Do it all the time !

Wire cricket cages are handy. Lots of air flow. and you can pull out what you need and re-hydrate as needed

I could use some bobcat scat for my upcoming season. I imagine placing it at or near the set could help. Didn't there used to be someone that sells Bobcat scat, and I think somebody once recommended using small Tootsie Rolls

I think fine sawdust would work just as well. I've rehydrated it by dribbling bobcat urine on it.
