JBR OP trapper J Joined: Jun 2009 Posts: 421 West Central GA	What size cable do you use for snare extensions for beaver? I’ve been using 1/8 but am looking at making some 3/32. ~ADC~ The Count Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: 16,401 Iowa	3/32 will kink a little more but it's more than strong enough for that application. Ideally you'd use 7x19 cable as its softer feeling and doesn't kink as easily, but typically it costs more than the 7x7.

glf trapper G Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 247 MI	I make my extensions 60 inches long. It's easy enough to put two extensions together. 3/32 7x7. Most or the time the extensions can be reused.
