What size cable do you use for snare extensions for beaver?
I’ve been using 1/8 but am looking at making some 3/32. At times I have to run them about 8 feet long or so would 3/32 work just as good?

3/32 will kink a little more but it's more than strong enough for that application. Ideally you'd use 7x19 cable as its softer feeling and doesn't kink as easily, but typically it costs more than the 7x7.

I make my extensions 60 inches long. It's easy enough to put two extensions together. 3/32 7x7. Most or the time the extensions can be reused.
