I had the pre-exposure rabies series about 6 years ago. If I have had covid, I did not know it.

Back about 30 years or more ago the Michigan Trappers had a chance to be used for a "NEW" dead vaccine for rabies. Those of us that handled animals were advised to get it. About 25 people showed up. In 6 months we went in for the booster. Things had gone along for 3-4 years and there was a fire at the state filing department of Michigan. So they contacted us for any copies. I didn't have anything on file here. Still kicking around.

I got the pre rabies vaccine back mid 1990s. Have had at least one booster if recall correctly maybe two?? Anyway I've not been overly careful with covid since start. I am now three shot in with covid vaccine with zero side effects. My shingles shot hurt more. Maybe the rabies vac was why never got one single side effect from covid vac?? I'm going for my flu shot tomorrow and was planning to ask where I'm at with rabies vac. I know last time I ask doc just said instead testing tider and paying for that then the shot if low. Was no harm so got booster for few dollars more didn't bother with tider test.

I had pre exposure rabies and my wife had post exposure rabies and we both had Covid. I also have a friend that has had the pre exposure rabies shots and he had covid too. Both my daughters had Covid and had no symptoms, neither of them had any rabies shots.

I got rabies vaccination in 1998. I also fly in and out of international airports at least 12 times a month for the last year.
Just recently, my daughter got Covid and was sent home for from school for 2 weeks. I ate and drank after her and we all lived in the same space.
Out of curiosity, I decided to get my antibodies checked; as not only had my daughter had Covid 19, but also I've been exposed hundreds of times at international airports.
The results came back that I have not had Covid 19 and have never been exposed to it.
