I bought brass nut and screw at the hardware store and found out the screw was only brass plated
if you need it all brass check with a magnet
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

get the brass screws from your trap supply dealer, same ones to use on trap pans, cheap by the hundred and you will find uses for them. They are significantly cheaper from the trap dealer as well!
