Awesome video!! But walking up on bait barrels with Grizzlys around....oh heck no. Lol. That has to be a little unnerving! I'd be afraid I'd find one guarding a barrel.

I did feel under-gunned! He came back a second time so I sat it the stand (with a bigger rifle), but he hasn't been back since.

Wow that is some awesome power. If a person was running a long line of barrel baits and a bear like that got on it, there would not be much left. When this one fills out it could be more impressive.

Yes, he is very thin. Unless, he can get some good calories in the next month or so, he may not make the winter (imo). Other bears blacks and grizzlies are in better shape than he is. For some comparison you can check out this waddling tub. The video was taken the same month of the year as the barrel crusher.
