I'd be wary of any of the spring hooks for coyote, even the Sleep EZ ones that have the screw down peice. None of these type fasteners are designed to handle the damage and stress a big coyote can deliver. Most are made of lightweight aluminim or cheap pot metal.
A coyote has tremendous bite force and you will be setting yourself up for a lost trap...and coyote.....eventually.
Just my opinion. I do use these to attach bodygrip extension cables to trees, but there is not much fight in them caught critters.

They are sleep hooks, not spring hooks. They have locking gates like quick links Yeah...I know. Only a matter of time b4 a strong biter encounters that setup.

1/4” quick links. Bite away. Don’t trust any spring loaded attachment device for yotes. If one yote gets loose with your trap he is one to many. Bad press.

Morning, I came across these Sleep EZ Spring Hooks, and they get talked highly about. But I can't seem to find any pull /breaking strengths for them. Wondering which size is best for coyotes? Don't want to just use the biggest if a size or two down is enough. Less steel to conceal. Thanks in advance, Ken Every size of springhook was pull tested to over 500 lbs and still functioned afterwards.
