Not looking good, cat 4. Eye right over me according to track now tired but who can sleep. Just broke out a jug of coffee, boats ready for water if........I wont say more 4 wheeler ready to go when eye gives me a break to stick my nose out to check damage, chainsaw fueled up, generator fueled up but we still have power now, first rain bans about to come thru according to radar. Breeze picking up abit. Shutters closed. Darla Has a fresh bread now cooking in the oven. Smells good in here, got a feeling tomorrow at this time I'll have a few feet of water over the rice tops in our crawfish pond
Honestly, I act tough around here, everyone knows me as a tough guy but at this moment, I'm scarred. I have my wife and daughter here I need to keep safe . When your just sitting around waiting for a period when you know things are gonna be scary and dangerous, life threatening, even the toughest become weak. Ivr done all we could to ready ourselves for this event. I've been thru a few of these storms before but never a direct hit from a cat 4. The news ain't helping posting pictures constantly of the castistrophic damage these storms have caused. In the past to other places. It's become a nerve racking waiting game now. For some strange reason I'm. Sitting here remembering the whistling of wind I've heard before. Another silly memory I'd going take a pee and seeing the water in the toilet going up and down a couple inches from the pressure changes going on. Crazy stuff
I'm ramblin but guess it's my anxiety waiting for what I know is coming in a few short hours. Well. I'll go for now, if I can. Keep updating later I will. This scarred tough guy needs another big mouthful of coffee. Hopefully catch you all later, stay safe and god bless each and every one of you

Jeff, I have 4 dry bags packed with everything you could think of, tent gold armor and aqua quest tarps mountain house food, about 2 week supply, rocket stove and fuel, ferrol rods. First aid. Light, clothing, rain gear, thermorest sleeping pads, sleeping bags, ground sheets, para cord, knives, even a big bag of birch bark to start fires. Power supply to charge phones and lights. Eco lanterns. Oh and I mentioned tents, 3 of them, nature hike , vontox and fe active. Tarps, 5 of them . Axe, agawa 24 hand saw. I've got loads of camping and bushcraft stuff, much more than one man should have, its stuffed into dry bags now close to my living room door. I've even throw one of my axes in the attic. 8 big propane bottles full. 18 - 16 ounce bottles for our camping stoves and lanterns. And to much other stuff for me to remember . Local news just gave increase in strength. 145 sustained, gust to 160+ with possibilities of possibly more strengthening, eye still headed right at me, if we are still here when eye gets over us I'll jump on the 4 wheeler and do a damage assessment during calm before it gets going again from the opposite direction. This past may an eye of a storm came over us, I had about 25 minutes of calm before all (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) broke loose again, that one was only about 80 or 90 mph
