I hate to ask a stupid question...Why paint them if they are buried? Fox and coyotes can't see them under the dirt? I wax mine and haven't found that they can be seen any better? Painting's just another option opposed to waxing. They both protect them from rusting. Those that paint usually don't wax. Paint will often last more than one season where wax needs to be done every year.

They look great. I paint my wife's coyote traps pink, it keeps her happy and trapping. There are some that feel the need to bash her for it though That's great that hers are pink! Every yote dancing around with a pink braclet you know is hers!
