Do you want these counties from Oregon to join your state?

It will never happen (to many roadblocks) so I don't worry about it. If it looked like it could happen I would have to do some research.

After the last election, and the way Idaho is moving, there are already too many "blue" thinkers (or nonthinkers) in the state, and more moving in all the time. I would welcome those eastern Oregon counties into Idaho, as they basically have the same mindset as most of rural Idaho. I would gladly trade Ada, Canyon, Blaine, Latah, and Teton Counties (and perhaps Kootenai County) in Idaho for those eastern Oregon counties. This has been talked about for decades, along with at least 3 northern California counties. I suspect it is still nothing but talk, and will never get very serious.

If they have our conservative views and don’t bring any liberal garbage with them, I’ll take them. Like Gulo said, there are certain counties I like to kick out of this state.

They would just change Idaho instead of correcting Oregon.

We have to many people already and too many liberals moving in. So do those counties. I certainly see why they want to change states, but I don't see an advantage for Idaho to accept them. We would add some land and some conservatives, but frankly their percentages of liberals are as bad or worse than Idaho's. And even their "conservatives" are used to much more restrictive laws than here, so would be accepting of more restrictions and government overreach than we are, because it would be "not too bad", being so much less than they were used to.

I don't know..........How long will it take to teach them to pump gas and drive 80 on the freeway?

There should be an entrance test, e.g. have to cross Hells Canyon rim to rim (including river swim) to get in. In August. Carrying a dozen wolf traps.

I thought they already were Boco, Lol, judging by the Alberta plates we had pre-covid. I think they own 25% of our county. The Albertans we have become friends with are really good people and welcome as far as I am concerned. They're a far cry better than some of the ones from WA, OR, and CA!

Separation of States even portions of some States might be nessacry in the future to avoid major conflicts.

Last time we tried that, it seemed to cause a "major conflict". Not disagreeing with you, just pointing out that unless both sides want to seperate it isn't going to cure the problem.

The separation of reality from feeling will be nessacry at some point down the road a least we will get the food and they get the feelings. LOL
