Fuel prices have to go up so green energy will cost less This is the correct answer.^^^ Fossil fuel prices are gonna get a lot higher(artificially-taxed etc) in order to make the alternatives feasable.

It's estimated that all the governments and central banks together injected the equivalent of 30 trillion new dollars into the economy in the last 18 months.

Still charged gas surcharges and now it’s Covid surcharges at the airlines. That bailed out Amtrak and they are giving away trips like they are balloons so go figure.
I needed some Smartboard 4X8 sheets of siding I called Menards they are not making it now.

Idiot Politicians used to tax and spend, now they did one better. They Print and spend. Get ready Inflation is going to get even worst. Last summer to fill a 100 lb propane tank was around $48, had one filled today $82. The print and spend has been going on for 50 years. It's what happens when a country discards a sound monetary system for a fiat one. It starts out slow and then snowballs. And ive seen two places this week advertising tank swaps for 13 and 14 bucks. Not for a hundred pounder.

Could it be from covid, the oil, the Texas storm? Who knows. Did some shopping today most items had increased in prices. 1 example, 2 weeks ago I thought about getting some romex it was $54 for 250' today $67. Had to buy necessity household items at another store, I usually pay around $45-$50 today $60.
Because the government is printing money and handing it out to everyone. Just wait. Hyperinflation is right around the corner followed by a depression that will make the 30's look like not enough change at the toll booth. It's coming, mark my words. This country is driving over a waterfall with Mr. Magoo and his hoe steering the ship.
I BELIEVE IN MY GOD, MY COUNTRY AND IN MYSELF.

Mr. Magoo and his hoe steering the ship. They had plenty of help, the man before them wasn't afraid to spend money. A trillion dollar tax cut without a cut in spending has consequences as well.

anything building is nuts but I am seeing it in food prices and any durable good
wife works for a millwork corp , they own about half the door making plants in the USA and a few in Canada you can order a custom door today and you might see it by Christmas if your luck and you didn't pick one they can no longer get parts for because the parts were discontinued.
if you need to be in your new home in less than a year by stock doors at the store whatever they have and live with it
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Whether they are legit elections or not. Remember the Jimmy Carter years - 14% prime interest rate, gas in such short supply that gas stations closed on Sundays. Deficits spending comes back to roost. They can create more $$$ but they are cheaper dollars - they don't buy more. It's just more dollars chasing virtually the same quantity of things resulting in higher prices. We say inflation but it's really currency devaluation - a dollar buys less because it's worth less. In 1935 a dollar was worth 1/35 of an ounce of gold. Now it's worth 1/1821 of an ounce of gold.

It cost almost twice as much to produce a penny as what it's worth. On the bright side, I don't foresee another toilet paper shortage with the way they're printing money.
