I've never seen or heard of a taxidermist meeting his promise about when the work will be done.
My African trophies took a year and a half longer than promised. At least they came out looking good.

Well I can't stay quiet even though I should.
Two years ago I sent a frozen marten to the taxi along with full payment that he requested. I had seen lots of his work and it is outstanding. I emailed about 8 months later to see what the status was. Not ready.
So 6 weeks ago I messaged him again for the status. He read the message on 4/13/21 but did not respond. He has not been back online since then.
The thing that really bothers me is that he is a longtime TMAN member with a great reputation. I hope he comes through one of these days. You are forbearing, patient and kind in allowing the chance to respond. That is a long time to wait. Time......brings progress . Given the chance to respond . After a while, proceed onward.

I can honestly say that I have never had a good experience with a taxi. Last time I delt with one, I was trapping in the sandhills of Ne for coyotes. As outfitter had some hunters from Ar up hunting, and when I met them, one was a taxi and ask If I ever caught any badger. I said all the time, but I just cut them loose. He said, if you catch one in the next few days, I'll buy it. I said okay. Next day, I have a big old badger, so I bring him home and take it to him that night. Next day they are gone when I go over to collect. I swear, they are all flaky, very few that pass the sniff test for me anymore!
