I dont have any wood stretchers and i only have one wire mink stretcher do you think it will be ok to use someone told me the furbuyers would not buy them if i use it.

they will buy wire stretched mink (altho ya need male and female stretchers unless ya know how to catch all males ... if thats the case ... id like to know..lol).... its just that wood stretchers give them a better look for the most part

Thanks and i only have four this year and yes they are all males so i guess that is all i can catch.

Some buyers want furs on wire so that they look like theirs.
When I buy new stretchers it will be wood, until then I use what I have. I'll never get rid of the wires, they are too handy when traveling and camping.

If I bought new gear everytime someone on the internet or otherwise said to, I'd have new stuff every month.

I use the wire on both the males and females.You can pull the females tight enough that they are about the same width as a board. I have not had any complaints from my fur buyer

I use only wood for mink. The wire will stretch the fur out to wide making the fur appear thinner on the back. Wire will work ok but I would try to narrow down the stretcher.
