Mid 80"s could buy one here but they put the stop on that claimed emissions wouldn't pass. Everyone knows a diesel is a more efficient engine then a gas. I had a 2 wheel drive Nissan that would get 32 MPG back then while the gas model was around 20 tops.

I'm buying one as soon as fur is back to "hay day" levels!!!!! What a trapping rig! We might see those prices soon. Problem is the costof the trucks will probably be about double or worse.

I bought and used GM vehicles most of my life with reasonably good service.
That changed when GM and Chrysler took the government bailout pushed by the obama administration. Ford resisted political pressure from Washington and did not take the government bailout pushed by the liberals. I believe Ford lost some government vehicle sales due to resisting the government handout.
I took a long look at Ford products and decided I would buy my first one.
I just bought my third Ford product and have been very pleased with all three of them.
Western SD Fur Harvesters, SDTA, NTA, FTA and life member of NRA. Cancer survivor (7 years) and still fighting it.

I just got a new Ford ranger they are nice what i like the most is 22 mpg plus and more room in the cab and $5k less than a toyota and was told by many the NEW ranger is better truck
50 + years of trapping & some fur buying and i still know nothing.
