Blaine I realize your an attorney. You have been trained to shake a bone till all the meat falls off. How many restaurants have you been to that do not have a masks required sign? Most will still let you in. This girl was seating people. I figured like 99 out of hundred other mask required businesses the sign was just to keep politicians happy. I seriously doubt that the girl in my saga thought I was rude or a PITA.
Fair enough. On a brighter note Railhead Smokehouse outside of Fort Worth, Texas was 100 percent mask free this weekend. And the barbecue was pretty good.
It’s not just in the city. Wife and I wanted to go in a store in Moberly MO on Saturday and was told a mask was required. Funny part is we had just eaten at a restaurant across the street from the store and no one was wearing a mask.
Born then but still see the signs and people complying...yet haven’t read the first complaint about it on here. But a store asks someone to where a mask and it’s a Government conspiracy. Their store, their rules. Most even have a sign on the door. I don’t wear one except mandated at work. During my off time if I ignore the sign and they ask me to leave, I leave. Same as if you come into my house and are smoking, I’d tell you no smoking in the house...comply or leave.

Hopefully 20 years from now wearing a mask will be just like the no shoes no shirt signs. I already seen one that said no shoes, shirt, mask no service. I feel safe now.

Very few stores started the mask BS. You can blame that on stupid fauci. A few of the chains fell into lock step early on, but for every doc that thinks they are THE ANSWER, You can find just as many or more that say NO to the mask BS. Maybe not in Canada, ccause your used to being told what to do! Don't deny it critter, it shows in all your posts!

You quoted my post but mention Canada. I’m about as far away from Canada than most members on here unless we have some from Florida, lol. Yes, most chain stores have the “rule” or “ request” but very few enforce it down here. But, if they did, I’d either comply or take my business elsewhere. I’m currently in the waiting room at my dentist office...wearing a mask. I could be smart and ask how they’re going to clean my teeth with a mask, but I know the minute I walk to the back it’s no mask required. Makes about as much since as the restaurant, but their rules and my hygienist is pretty cute, so here I sit.
It’s not enough to just not wear the mask and stop patronizing these places, some of us with anger management issues want to shove them up their exhaust pipe. lol
Hobbie, that could lead to internal combustion if the wrong foods were eaten prior to blocking the exhaust with said mask. I do know mask don’t block exhaust smell, so it might not have any effect other than the satisfaction of installing it.

I was talking about masks, I think you were too!

It's society in general. It seems most people have to be outraged about something.

Support for wearing masks is not a Canadian thing it's the rest of the world thing. The difference is that Canadians tend to have greater trust in their elected officials and those hired as experts by elected officials on behalf of the tax paying public. Americans tend to be less trusting and more suspicious of their elected officials. I'm not suggesting one system is any better then the other, it's just the way it is. We don't do what we're told, we follow the recommendations provided to us by the experts we hire through our elected officials.

.
The real issue is, "just as its stated"! The elected official's who are not experts, but people who want to continue to be on the public dole! RE-Election each term.
And yes, I am an American who has doubts about our elected officials.
Canadians can thank your elected officials for the choice of guns you would like! Hmm!
