Son has had a couple. Timing belts around 70G used to be common but I don't know about current models. They are very capable in crappy weather with decent tires. And they are reliable. Just don't forget the Bernie and Coexist decals. bernie and coexist? I am sorry I don't understand

Great trapping cars for long line mink lines in the past, great gas mileage and went just about anywhere.

Subaru makes donations on new sales to HSUS. Couldn't find that but they do make donations to ASPCA...which appears to be a different organization? Looks like Subaru will donate $250 to an organization of your choice (upon purchase of a new vehicle). Wonder if that includes the FTA or Sportsmans Alliance

Different sides of the same coin pretty much. Last I looked, you had to pick from their choices, ASPCA, meals on wheels, make a wish or Nat'l parks foundation.
