Have any of you done the paycheck protection program and if so, how did it work out for you? We are thinking of maybe doing it this time around, but I just don't trust the gooberment. Please pm me if you don't want to post on the public forum. Thanks for your help in advance.

I got it on the first go around for my business of 12 employees. I wasn't going to but my accountant told me that all I do is complain about taxes and here is a chance to get some of that money back. I just filed for forgiveness last week, we'll see what happens. The amount of inflation(tax) we're going to see from all of this expansion of the M2 money supply is going to be insane. All in all it's a bunch of socialist crap.

My wife and I tried for our small business the first go around, and the money was gone by the time we got our application sent. This time when we inquired about it, we were informed that documentation that we had a 25% or more reduction in sales over the last year was required. Which we didn't, our sales actually grew through the shut down. So, we were disqualified from receiving assistance. Kind of stuck in the middle like everything else.

I filled out the paperwork for PPP on behalf of our church in the first go around. It was surprisingly painless. I have not filled out the forgiveness document (one page) yet, but it's on my to-do list for March.
