I got bad intel last night, it ISN'T caught, lol. Has been quite the buzz on local radio stations all day and for another surprise it's name is Jack, lol.

Appears it was picked up in Ms. and was suppose to be transported to somewhere in Tn but the guy stopped at his house over here by me on his way through and it somehow got loose from him, lol.

Already googling up bbq roo recipes.

I saw that JTrap! Mike Dubberly on Fox 6 interviewed the guy that let him get out. Everyone should google kangaroo in Winfield AL and watch the interview and the other videos. Apparently this ain’t his first kangaroo experience and they are difficult to hold by the tail when they are wet!

Of course you have to use a #3 Victor jump to catch a kangaroo, everyone knows that! I
bet you and I could team up and get him!

All them folks know each other around there. If somebody popped that guy’s kangaroo with a 22mag there’d be a fistfight over it in the parking lot of the new Dollar General within the hour!

Little quiet community where nothing goes on and then this happens has the whole area stirred up, lol.

Imagine if this goes on much longer it will go viral and be a world wide story, haha

There was a video on FB a year or two ago where some goose hunters in Oklahoma saw a roo hopping by. I'd link it, but there's adult language. Make for a heck of a story.

Two years ago the wife and I spent two weeks in Australia. We were on an afternoon bush tour and the camp guide cooked a kangaroo tail in an open fire, hair and all. Tasted like greasy pork a little. I can eat about anything, but I confess that kangaroo is no longer on my list.

Whatever you do, don't hire Tom The Cat! I'd put on boxing gloves and wait, with a buddy at the ready!

According to everything I learned on Saturday mornings... Boxing gloves are the way to go.

But you gotta be fast with the 'stick and move' to be successful.

The Australian guy we have at work says Americans eat a lot more kangaroo than anyone realizes. Apparently it used to be shipped over for a beef substitute in TV dinners and such. He said people in Australia rarely ate them because of the worms in thier meat. I do remember a few years ago someone in the OKC area losing a pet kangaroo and some guys got pictures of him on trail cam. I figure he hoped by the wrong deer stand and got a ride to a taxidermy buddies house.
