gregh OP trapper G Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 972 Ar	My wife has baby sitter a kid since he was born and he is now 10, He has road along with me on the trap line since he was 3 and helped me make sets. This year he decided that he wanted to do everything himself. I use Jake traps and he is not big enough to depress the springs so I do that for him but everything else he does, from pick the spot to placing the trap and lures. Last week we set a spot and he caught a coyote. This week we set 4 traps each in an old gravel pit. as of today he has caught 1 coyote 2 possums and A bobcat in the pit. And I have only caught 1 coon and a gray fox in the pit. I am very proud of him but this beating me trapping every week is getting hard to take.He loves that he can beat me trapping and loves to rub it in.

hippie trapper H Joined: Feb 2010 Posts: 19,722 pa	Awesome! I helped a kid five or so years ago, but once he started rutting the trapping too a back seat. I hope that after he's done chasing girls, he'll get the urge to trap again.
