I still look around and see whats going on in my community with this covid thing and talk with friends and family members about what they are seeing in their communities and I haven't seen anything worrisome enough to feel the need for a vaccine for me. Friend lives in the hot spot for this state and has seen a pretty high infection rate at his employment and everyone is getting though it pretty well. Only ones we've had die in our community were older and had pretty serious health complications going on previously. Have one neighbor that's in absolute terrible health like so bad you would think the next cold could finish him off and he recovered from covid. That said he was in the hospital for awhile though. I decided early on I was going to go with what I was seeing and hearing from people I trust as it seemed alot of the media had an agenda. Still feel pretty confident in my decision.

So by your line of thinking no drug is safe. Every drug from pee-pee hardeners to stool softeners are constantly going through testing no matter how long they've been out?? That's why you'll see them recall a drug suddenly after it's been on the markets for years, even decades.

My wife had the baby at the doctor's office the other day for a check-up. Got to talking with the doctor about the covid vaccine. He said he won't put that in his body. I was never planning getting it. But the wife said if my doctor won't get it either will i!.

I've decided that I'll take the traditional style vaccine once it's approved. The one where they inject a little bit of dead virus into you. Those vaccines have been around for a long long time and we know what to expect from them. I'm going to skip the new style vaccine that injects a strand of DNA (mRNA) to get your cells to produce the protein that your body will then attack with antibodies for the virus.

I don't think there is a conspiracy or a cover up. I don't think there are any micro chips. But, I want this new vaccine to be around for a few years before I take it. Although I think the most likely outcome is that it will eventually be found to be safe and effective and lots of vaccines will work that way. But let them test it on somebody else first.

I will be getting the vaccine though - the traditional type. I have diabetes and high blood pressure. The virus has a 5% chance of killing me if I get it. So, 95% chance of getting through it alive but I like better odds. My family is still depending on me.

That said, I still shake hands. I wear a mask only when required. At work I'm supposed to wear it all day but the half dozen people I work with the most have sort of evolved to not wearing them unless someone else is around. I don't wash my hands all day. I know 1 person directly who has died. She was 89. I know dozens that have had it and survived. I know OF several other deaths in the community but not directly in my circle of friends, family, or acquaintances.

It's a real thing. It's not as bad as the media has hyped it to be. It does kill people. The vast majority will survive it. Whether you get the vaccine, like whether you wear a seat belt, should be up to each individual to decide for themselves.

Its kind of like global warming. Fauci and company want us to think that the vast majority of scientists agree with them. the fact is that that just aint the case. I think it behooves everyone to make up their own mind, and it should be an informed decision. Lots of very good doctors out there who are advising against the vaccine. Should we just write them off as crazy ? for a virus that has such a high survival rate?

Last week I got a call from my boss (I am a teacher) letting me know I was on the list to get a shot on Saturday. I told him to give it to someone else, because I was going cat hunting. I will not be getting a shot. During this whole thing the news had a video on TV showing a line of people getting shots at the local high school. It was from 2008 when the H1N1 was a thing. I did not even know about that back then. I think I was busy chasing bear with my dogs. Whatever, I have never had a flu shot and not getting this new one. If it is my time to go, I guess it is my time.

Why all of a sudden since March 2020, the big worrisome about dying?

It's as if people are feeling as though they would live forever before March 2020.
Who thought they would never die before COVID?

Exactly. How/why did this virus become the boogey man it has become? Seems like most everyone is scared beyond compare of this. We have had viruses, and many other things that will kill you, forever.

Watch the evening news they hype everything into a frenzy it’s just boom boom gloom and doom for the whole show and we know from the past year a lot of it is just wrong. So some folks see it as all misinformation and others are looking for the first truth this time neither wants to hear what the people that don’t buy what they do have to say.

I’m gonna get it when it’s available. The local supermarket / pharmacy gives you $5 off your next grocery order when you get a vaccine. Last fall, I got two shingles shot and a flu shot, made $15. There’s more money in getting vaccinated than there is in trapping these days.

So my GF is a nurse and they "strongly encourage" the nurse employees to take the vaccine. One nurse did, and her arm swelled up badly. She was advised to seek medical help, but couldn't at her workplace because it wasn't covered by her workplace insurance as it is an "experimental vaccine" and therefore not covered.
This is where Democrats have taken us thus far.

I have honoured the C0V|D process, I have kept silent when I’ve wanted to disagree and I have have chosen to take the high road when I haven’t agreed with policies or procedures but tonight something has happened that is wildly concerning and I can’t stay silent anymore.
My wife was in the States for work, she left 4 days ago. There were precautions she needed to take in order to travel safely, which she was more than willing to do, and did. Canada introduced a rapid test program in December which made traveling safe and easier during the ‘pandemic’.
She was free to travel as long as she had a negative test before she left for the states, and another one before she came home. Canadian airlines will NOT let you board if you do not produce a negative result before boarding. She produced her negative result before boarding the flight home tonight on January 28th, 2021.
She arrived in Calgary tonight and when she got there she was greeted by a Police Officer and a health official. They rejected her results and told her she needed to go immediately to an isolation facility. She was told if she resisted she would be arrested. She called me, and I immediately asked to talk with the officer. I talked with both a Police Officer and the AHS official, they reiterated what she had said to me. I asked for the address of where she would be, they said they could NOT give me the location address as it was confidential. I asked for their names, again they would not give me any information or their names. I pushed, I questioned, I tried to fight but they said they would arrest her if she resisted. They would NOT give me any information on where they were taking my wife. She was not allowed to get her vehicle from the airport, she was immediately put in a white van surrounded by police escorts and taken to an unknown facility that is under full surveillance and has security at every entrance and exit. You can imagine I am barely keeping myself together wondering what in the world has happened in our country in what seems to be overnight.
Will you pray with me to that my wife would be kept safe, and our family and children would be kept in perfect peace while this continues to unfold. She’s an incredibly strong women who is full of faith, but she is still a young woman and mom who is traveling alone.
Our rights are slipping right before our eyes and our freedoms are being stripped. It’s time to wake up.
