Hey guys, I知 wondering if anyone has tried these before? Are they worth the extremely high price? I see they have 330s that are 12x12, and I知 wondering if these would miss otter? I知 debating whether I should buy one and give it a try, or buy a few others for the same price. Thanks!

I have six. They are nice conibears but were not worth the price. Never measured them come to think of it. Bought them on a whim. Can't remember the exact price. Chalk that up as one of those things like an expensive gun I just had to buy. They work fine but if you want to spend extra money go with the belises, they are better imo

In my case the MORE EXPENSIVE body grippers have more than paid for themselves in loss of time....I do nuisance beaver work. Belisle, LDL, Sauvageau, Rudy, Bridger Magnums, and BMI magnum traps have caught beaver in unusual ways and got the job completed.

I know people love to hate the Bridger 330 but I have a bunch and have few problems with them. I use a pair of locking setters and have no problem with the smallish spring eyes. They will grab and hold anything a Belisle will for half the price. Caught a 50 lb beaver by the face last season - in front of the ears and it held her just fine, of course she wasn't putting up much of a fight. The Belisle is a great trap but I hate the trigger wires on them, break far to easily. LDLs are awesome but harder to find. The only thing I don't like about the magnum traps is getting caught in them. It hurts, a lot. That being said, I kill a ton of beaver every year in good old Dukes, Victors and Sleepy Creeks.
