His arms and hands must be made of steel. How does someone skin 36 coyotes after trapping all day? I am guessing he does it like the rest of us, one at a time!

Someday all trappers hit 70. Do it when you can. Spot on, GT. I've told people for years at demos, to figure a way to do it while your young. I have known many that said, "I really gonna hit it hard when I retire". I tell them that they are dreaming, cause Every one I've known has quit after a year or two after retiring. Milligan and I were riding to a convention years ago, and he said, "I want to have a good year or two before I turn 37"! I said WHAT, cause at that time I was already 43 or 44. He said, "all the big dogs tell me your burned out by 37". I just said, I ain't burnt out yet! Now.....maybe I'm a little closer, I pretty much trap for fun, at soon to be 74.

Lee I hope I’m still hitting it like you when I’m in my 70s. Keep after it!

Lee, it was very cool to see ray mentioned you in his coyote book about you teaching him to put up yotes and you were the best at it he'd ever seen.
She should stay home and do more cooking like Babe Winkelmans wife did, and let her husband have some peace and quiet.

Thanks Brad, but I've sure noticed, it gets harder every year! I’m only 45 and felt like a steamroller ran over me after the first day of making sets. They don’t make models like you and my dad anymore or if the do they skipped the year I was born.

I too am hitting 74 in a very short while. Every time I kneel down to make a coyote set it hurts to get back up. Need at least two complete joint replacements. My mother once said when she was in her 70’s, my dad and her never thought they would get old. It comes a lot quicker than you think, like warp speed when you look back.
