My wife made me watch it for our anniversary- The Greatest Showman.
Lots of grit and entrepreneurial/American spirit in that movie. I couldn't finish watching that one.I HATE musicals.

I tried to avoid Cowboys and Aliens thinking it looked stupid. I finally watched it and I was surprised that I liked it.
This wasn't the first movie I ended up liking in spite of myself. I figured Oh Brother Where Art Thou? looked awful until I watched it and now I am sure it is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen.
What movie surprised you? It gets dark early and your recommendations are welcome. Finding Forrester.Thought it was gonne be P>U but was pretty good.

"Bobcat Trapping with James Lord" - What surprised me was that one Texas reviewer didn't like it.

My wife was surprised to really like Singing in the Rain.
And a huge surprise, after months of protest, she liked Jeremiah Johnson.
I really liked Brave. Animated kids movie, but it's got highlanders and archery.

Thanks for the recommendations I appreciate it. Now that yall brought it up I resisted watching The Shawshank Redemption too- it looks slow and boring but I ended up liking it.
Same with Grand Torino- I never would have even considered watching it if not for being directed by Rowdy Yates. It was a great movie and so is The Mule if anyone has a chance to see it.

The Winnie the pooh Western.
Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.

Interesting I've never seen it. Why'd you like it? Interesting history in the movie. It was a tough time in the world. Great Depression. Lots of people in bad straits. But the movie offers some positive takes on humanity and the good things in life even during some pretty dark days

Lots of grit and entrepreneurial/American spirit in that movie. I watched that about three days ago. I was about to walk but decided to give it a few more minutes. Turned out to be a good movie.
