Hope all y'all are doing alright. Lots of videos on youtube about a blizzard and car pileups on the interstate highways.
Prayers sent from Nebraska.

Most of the white stuff is in West Central TEXAS...
I-20 is shut down in several places west of Big Springs...
We have about 3" of ice and snow here at the ranch...
I think if you get east of San Angelo about 20 miles, it is more rain than ice...
Us TEXICANS don't handle the white stuff very well... It will all be gone in a couple of days...
Good Luck and God Bless you and yours,

I am south of it but I am sure our drunk drivers will rise to the occasion tonight.
Happy new year Charlie

Thanks Charlie but I think we're alright, at least from OKC to the eastern third of the state.

It's been a weird day here in the Northwest Hill Country, 26 miles from Mason, Junction, or Menard.
Thunderstorm came through about 3 AM this morning with small hail, high wind and 1.8" of rain. Light sleet until about 2 PM this afternoon with fences and trees covered with ice but water troughs not frozen. Then started snowing and is still snowing. I haven't measured the amount of snow but maybe 3 or 4 inches. Started hearing trees breaking about 5 PM and will probably have lots of limbs down out in the pasture tomorrow.
Really hard on the horses as temperature was about 70 degrees yesterday afternoon before the weather changed and is 30 now. The sudden drop plus the rain, then sleet and now snow has really got them shaking.
I wouldn't be surprised to have some sick ones when this is over.
Sit on your horse on top of a ridge, look out across the country and tell me there is no God.
