Chinese stocks are fun but you can't trust their government. Will be interesting to see what happens with Alibaba. I'm thinking of putting money on JD.

The government action against ANT& BABA I think, is a two pronged ploy by the Chinese. 1. They are trying to convince Europe that there are hard & fast accounting rules in place in China and consequently it is safe to invest in the Chinese economy. 2. They are sending a message to Jack Ma and anyone else with ambition that no success will be allowed that might threaten the CCP. The problem for the party is that BABA provides thousands of jobs in China and they don't want to threaten that. I bought BABA two days ago Mean As Nails
