Give me a couple three glasses of Jameson first and I’ll help you kill that bottle. Should try costcos Kirkland brand Irish whiskey. Pretty cheap and as smooth as Jameson on the rocks

Pretty cheap and as smooth as Jameson on the rocks I’ll have to give that a shot. My wife gave me some Slane for Christmas. A little sweeter than Jameson but it’s pretty good. Nessmuck did you get a hold of any of that castor flavored whiskey tamworth did a few years ago? A buddy of mine told me about it. I think In Sweden they steep castor in vodka. I’ve been tempted to give it a shot.

Yeah I’ve been locked out of the site for like two years and I finally got the password reset email today out of the blue. I’m actually the trapper that provides and works with the distillery that does the eua de musc . They have one online outlet they sell through, it’s some big liquor distributor but I believe they’re out right now because I’m getting ready to provide them some more Castoreum. they made to run so far and when they make a run it lasts about a month and a half to two months and that’s it. For those looking for a case I hope you have deep pockets it’s 65 bucks a bottle and there’s 12 in a box lol . A bit pricey for this trapper but pay. I like that they put Trappers in a good light with all the advertising and all that kind of stuff and they gave me an opportunity to position Trappers using local Beaver responsibly etc. etc. when they put together their marketing. They’re actually really good folks.
For those looking to sell castoreum to food producers etc. I have some tips. 1.. Don’t be afraid to sign nondisclosure agreements-a lot of food producers want to make sure I don’t tell anyone that I’m selling to them so people don’t realize the agreements.. 2. Keep good records of the Castoreum for food producers, where it came from and what type of the year. Remember the Castoreum is a direct reflection of what the beavers eating etc. so it varies. For example the beaver Castoreum I’m using for the whiskey comes from a certain location around a certain time of year so that I can ensure the beaver are producing pretty much the same smelly Castor for the whiskey so the distillers don’t have to mess with it any. As you all know castoreum smells different from place to place so keeping records helps you repeat the product you’re selling and ensures customer satisfaction lol

Thanks for posting anton I haven't had a try at any yet but would buy a bottle if I find one at the liquor store. And yes I have tried tasting castor, not what I expected to me the smell was way better than the taste. But infused in whiskey? I'm intrigued
