At least you're allowed in. There's a 75 limit at box stores here. People waiting hours outside in the cold snow and wind just to get basics, regardless of age. One elderly man was in line and relieved himself. This isn't about health or safety anymore I don’t know why people don’t just order what they need online and have it shipped to their house. If I gotta stand in line more than 5 minutes I bail and get my stuff somewhere else.

If I gotta stand in line more than 5 minutes I bail and get my stuff somewhere else. That includes grocery stores or any other business that can serve 75 customers at once. There's times you can't wait all day just for someone to deliver your groceries or pick your parts or tools. I ordered curbside from target last week it took me longer to find everything we needed online than it would've taken to go to the store stand in line then shop. Then had to wait 4 hours for the order is ready email wait another 15 minutes for them to come to the truck with my order. Not complaining just telling my experience. The other downside is the websites don't have accurate inventory info. I've placed other orders with other businesses only to find out they were out of said product.

we have Woodmans here they do charge a little more on items online for store pickup.
I didn't do any deep study but it seems like about 15-20 cents an item they have people going around the store with carts and scanners picking items all day and night
they have a room with an outside door off the front of the store you pull up to one of those spots and they have your bags labeled and in carts and coolers in that room.
they have time slots when you can pick up your order I think it is open 13 hours a day 8am to 9pm when you have your online cart ready you get choice of available pickup times, you select one and you need to be there in that window to pickup , when they are full they are full. if you plan to do this you might need to order days in advance because they always seem full
the wife has done it a couple times order on Friday night Sunday night at 8pm pickup it was a weekend I had to work and her back was giving her trouble
I think she also ordered on a Wednesday and had a Saturday afternoon pickup
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

I've been ordering a lot more stuff online. I hit stores as soon as they open in the morning and it isn't too bad but lots of stores don't open until 8:00 and I've got stuff to do at 8:00. Even our local Walmart isn't opening until 7:30 now. Not sure how Covid is safer after 7:30.
Also have noticed that many, many stores here have designated one door as out and one door as in. We pass each other down all the aisles while shopping but it's dangerous to use the same door to enter as to exit. So we have to walk a distance to get to the right door. Strange stuff.
