Collecting a pile more of firewood. It's been hot out for a while. Most of you know it's different in the woods. It's mother nature's a/c. I definitely like cutting wood in cooler weather, but that's when your out hunting critters.

And this 572 has been awesome. Not sure if you guys are into chainsaws, if you are this thing is powerful.

I figure a few on here have used a chainsaw mill. I did cheat a bit. Them green oak logs were to much for the chainsaw mill. Lol. It's not a how to by any stretch of the imagination.

Picked up a 32 inch bar and chain for those big logs. I got another chain I'm gonna grind to 10 degrees for ripping. Buck standing up for the other.

The 24 was 18 inches. The 32 I'm thinking I can mill a 24 inch log. Craptastic weather has me under the roof instead of out checking.

No. Picked it up off the front lawn of a man named Harpo. A door gunner in Vietnam who fell out of love with it. It's gonna sit here till he finds out. Lol

It's taken all summer run. I dropped the trees. Busted the bark off of them. Some were easy. Some wasn't so easy. Gotta say at this point I'm blown away at the way our great, great, ancestors did it. I had tools they didn't have. I will say they didn't have the bullhockey we have to deal with. Light bill. Truck payments, mortgage. Collage. Cell phone. Cable. Insurance.
I'm ready to be done.
