So this is not intended to be political but has to do with actions of elected officials. Not bashing one party or the other because these elected officials are off their rockers regardless of party. We have a governor with an "R" next to him. What I have seen in the week simply amazes me......I will use what has been "mandated" in the last 48 hours here in Ohio:

So yesterday the state issued guidance about what is permitted at wedding receptions (no joke they are now in the wedding planning business.) It is okay to have toasts, the cutting of the cake, tossing the bouquet and the first dance. It is not ok to generally dance. I have so many questions......is the garter toss okay? Maybe that gets too outa control? What about the chicken dance? What says social distancing more than everyone in a giant circle performing animal like moves? What about self-artistic dancing? Seen lots of that after a few brews. Also they clarified that you have to have a mask on unless actively drinking or eating...hmmm......lets see all the more reason to keep drinking when at a reception?

Now today, we have been issued a 10:00 pm curfew. All retail to close and you SHOULD be in your home. Nope I can't make that up. Haven't had one of those since I was 17. Our bars were already not allowed to serve alcohol after 10:00 pm anyway. Just prompts more questions.....what if I want to go coon hunting??? Is there a greater chance of me getting COVID if I make a late night run for the border (Taco Bell drive thru) versus going there for dinner? I walked out of my house this morning at 4:45 to check a couple of traps. Guess come Thursday I am a rebel?

Look we can all argue numbers, perspectives, etc. I have never in my life thought we would be taking mandates from our duly elected officials. The more they push the more we all want to push back. Don't they see this? I hold my breath for tomorrow......who knows. My 6-year old has a birthday in two weeks maybe they will mandate no birthdays? ?????

I expect our Governor to tell us we can no longer breathe in his press conference tomorrow.

Someone told me they heard NV will only allow 25 church members in attendance for a service. But, casinos can run at 50% capacity.

We don’t have restrictions, we have recommended precautions. Seems our governor figured out where the money comes from, or doesn’t come from. lol

Hobbie - All of these should absolutely be recommendations. Give me all the recommendations and potential risks of not following. Then I get to choose from there. A revolution was fought over this.

We're grounded again for 2 weeks. Full lockdown. Funerals can't have more than 30, churches 25%, big box stores can't have more than 75 customers at once, family gatherings of 5 and not from more than 2 households. No dining or drinking at restaurants and much more. Saw on the news this morning those enforcing the "rules" are stripping business licenses on the spot. "Nonessential" businesses must close.

Time to think about moving when the State plans your wedding for you.

Functionally none. There are restrictions on gatherings that are more suggestions considering no enforcement. Mainly governmental functions and health dept restrictions are in place such as restaurants using gloves, masks and plexiglass.

My restrictions are whatever the constitution tells me. The "officials" can pound sand.

Well our Sheriff just made a statement. Said call the health department for any kind of enforcement. Said it’s not their deal. This will be the case except in some urban areas which reinforces what’s the point. Treating us all like unruly teens then we all need to act like teenagers......

The Republicans sure hammered Facebook's Zuckerburg today along with Jack Dorsey from Twitter and the Google guys. Called them out on election meddling and such. It was brutal questioning.
