Has anyone sold any muskrats yet?
How much carcass, green or finished?
Just curious.
I haven't set anything yet. Just wondering if I could at least pay for my gas. grin

"Yeah Henry. Yeah, it's up there.. A whole valley full of prime beaver. A man could live easy the rest of his days."

I'd setup a walking line and hope to recover your gas money when you take your furs to town.

A friend of mine trapped some in a lagoon belonging to a town in the area. He caught 29, I believe. In the carcass, he was offered .50 to 1.00. He accidently caught a buck mink in one of the colony traps. He was offered $4. for it in the carcass. He said at that price, he felt bad that he caught it. I told him to go to church on Sunday and ask for forgiveness. smile

Must be nice to eat ice cream as fast as you want and not have to worry about brain freeze.

Wait until spring if you have a spring season at least you get some glands then. Last spring I averaged $1.97 on 20 some rats put up don’t think much has changed since then.

Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

There was a post on here a couple days ago where GFW paid an average of $2.64 for 76 rats from SE WI. Pretty good sample size.
