Wife's birthday. She didn't want to go to a restaurant so i brought it to her. Made a prime rib roast, homemade horseradish, garlic mashed potatoes, gravy from the roast, fresh salad, bread, and red wine. Dang im awesome. Even cleaned up. Sorry no pics. Im was too busy getting it to the table still warm. Strawberry cheesecake for dessert, but i have no room

I’ve never had home made baked beans. Do you eat all that in one shot or does some go into the freezer for leftovers?

Leave them in the fridge and pick on them for a couple days ...then freeze the rest...Good Stuff. You need to make a batch !

Yesterday was my first batch of chili for this season. I am fortunate to have mostly my garden stuff and meat. I make a 10-11 quart batch each time. They are all similar but never quite the same. Each year the salsa, tomatos, juice, onions and carrots are different. This batch had 1/3rd of the meat as sausage.
