Tomorrow will be my first out of state hunt on public land. The weather supposed to turn cold so it should make for good hunting. If I got one late in the evening and waited till morning, what’s the chances the coyotes will get to it?

In my opinion, coyotes are much thicker in the southern part of the state. It greatly depends on where you are hunting.
Ave don't go where the beaver don't flow

I'm not from Ohio but I'd take care of it and go to bed after the work was done.

I'm not from Ohio but I'd take care of it and go to bed after the work was done. x2 BUT, I have hung 1/2 a deer higher than a yote can jump until morning...so reason you couldn't unless only small trees around. I MUCH prefer skinning a warm deer though...or any critter for that matter.
