I imagine the country he hunted in alone, is enough for most of us to wish we were his gun toter. Great pics!

A big thank you to him for his servos and wow what a bear!!!! Congrats He doesn’t talk much about it but I’m sure he’s seen his share. They had him on the rooftops of skyscrapers downtown Minneapolis during the riots. I’d hate to be on the other end from him he’s a US Marshall now. He said the first shot the bear stood on both back legs straight in the air. Was a good hit but his guide told him they didn’t want to track a wounded grizzly so he put the second in him.

Hunt of a lifetime right there, and an awesome bear! Congrats to him, sounds like he truly deserved it.

That bear was an old timer for sure! Your buddy is the kind of hunter that outfitters love to guide. What’s he doing with his bear?
I got to hunt Alaska a few times, once for coastal browns. There’s no place like it in the world. I’m not sure but knowing him I wouldn’t put a full mount behind him. I think he said only 250 yards. They circled it downwind. Head was 25 inches across. That’s got to be some force behind that bite!

Judging by that bear's teeth, he needed to be harvested. Great job! Thanks to people like him, America is still the land of the free! Thank him for his service.
A gun is like a parachute. If you need one, and don't have one, you'll probably never need one again.
