So far I got a 4 oz container of petroleum jelly mixed with anise oil(1 tablespoon) to use as a lure, the jelly is to stretch out the use of the oil as well as just serving as a base. I also have a can of mackerel and a can of salmon to use. I plan on keeping some minnows or some chubs as bait, and i'm going fishing tomorrow, so I will hopefully get some sort of fish for bait, a carp or sucker would be nice. I also have a nice collection of bacon grease but besides the salmon and mackerel and that lure I made today that's all I have so far. What do you guys have for trapping bait so far? What are you going to make this year for bait that you haven't made yet?

We made rat bait for coyotes last year. We've been catching a few mice and rats to make more this year.

I've made some coon bait this year. Consists of shad, peanut butter, and raw honey.
