I know the new 110s are pretty snappy and probably could take a mink on land pretty easily, but i've heard 120's are the preferred trap for mink. I would also worry about the 110 being too small if say a raccoon or something like that were to wander by the set. I like the idea of the extra springs but i'm not sure if it is worth the money, since its a body grip trap chances are a mink of any size that wonders through it will get dispatched whether its on land or water anyways so is it worth the money to get them or not?

I’ve caught quite a few mink on land in 110s. That being said, if I was setting on land Purposely for mink, I would use 120s, but if I was setting in water, a 110 will do just fine. I have had my 110s snapped quite a few times by what I think are raccoons. In my opinion, a raccoon will still snap 120s pretty easily, unless it’s a small coon and the trigger is set right , also, they need to be very committed before they are caught. If your setting on land, it’s probably worth the little extra for 120s. Maybe the 110 magnums would work better for dry land mink.

If you stabilize them properly, a 110 should work ok on blind dry land for mink.
