Hi Sharon, everyone I’m talking with is pretty sure it’s lightning. Neat pictures, the buildings at the bottom of the first picture is the Bar TT Ranch. The wind is really gettin with it out there now. They just closed the main road that goes through to Leadore. Looks like I won’t be coming over to see you today Jack.

Miss our trapping/fur discussions, Tater. I'm out of here early tomorrow headed back up to the Clearwater/St. Joe Rivers for wolfing. Stay healthy and don't be breathin' that smoke.

Jack

Hey Tater, be safe , I know you all will. How amazing it must be for you to see familiar places in such smoky pics....even so, beautiful country it will remain, seen easily all around the outside of the smoke area.

If they Bear Creek fire got the winds we did yesterday. I'm surprised it isn't in West Yellowstone. Just read the Inciweb report and it's at 3897 or so acres. We've got the wind again today. Red flag for high winds and a little higher RH. We just got a ton of smoke pushed into the valley here.

Thank you hdwolfer , what an awesome website link . Does take a while to load with such volume of info . I have been enjoying getting familiar with the settings. Fantastic topo map images. I have it zoomed in to Idaho and Montana.

I was afraid of more wind...
