The longer I live the more I see how everything is skewed, everything has a slant...and its all blown out of proportion. This COVID thing is the perfect example. Not negating the severity of the virus, but seeing what is not deemed news any more is the telling part of the whole deal. The virus isn't affecting my life at all, neither are the riots....does the fact that these things are in the media constantly mean that all the other stuff wasn't actually that important?
Am thinking of going news free for a while, not that I get terribly bent out of shape over headlines already, but it might be a nice break.

But it is interesting how once that crack in the door is pushed open an entirely different world emerges. Most people never bother to make that push, and when you point out what's on the other side they look away in anger....at you.
