I would never use normal antifreeze. That would be a poison, but I have manged to get some marine antifreeze for boats and RV's that claims to be nontoxic to the environment. Would this mean I could use it in my making of lures and baits to keep it from freezing without potentially causing harm to the environment?

I have no idea about the marine anti freeze. Food grade propylene can be used as an anti freeze.

I'd be skeptical. Try propylene glycol instead
