Several years ago I found a source for bulk canning lids on eBay. The seller made lighting products and used small diameter jars for globes. He used the rings as well, but had no need for jar lids. I bought several hundred lids from him.

If you needs lids this year, search for this guy on eBay, or search for a manufacturer of outdoor lighting using canning jars. You might get a real deal. Better hurry though.

It is getting harder to find them around here. You can find them with the rings, but just lids are elusive.

Canning supplies are in good supply here. Dollar General is selling a dozen regular mouth quarts with lids and bands for $8.75 . Rural King has pallets of them also.

We sell a lot of regular mouth lids and bands. We buy canning jars for bottling honey, but use a one piece white metal lid. Usually sell lids+ bands for $2.25/ dozen.
