60,000 died from it last year. This year they have no common flu I reckon. All covid.

I saw a chart a couple of weeks ago that showed the number of occurrences of sickness from influenza graphed along with the number of occurrences of sickness from Covid-19.
The number of influenza sicknesses immediately dropped to almost nothing a soon as the Covid-19 skyrocketed.
I suppose the rate of influenza could have plummeted due to the stay-at-home orders and other precautionary measures. But if those measures were so effective for the flu, why were they not also as effective for Covid-19? But what other reason could there be for such a miraculous reduction in the rate of flu infections within the U.S.? Hmmmmm. I'm not sure I can explain it. But, something doesn't add up.

It would never fly, but if everyone around the world, stayed home for 2 weeks during the Northern and Southern hemisphere flu seasons, millions less people would get sick with the flu and other common contagious ailments.
Keith I bet if those that were sick would just stay home it would save millions too.

How come we haven't heard one word about anyone dying from the flu since the COVId-19 came to town? Surely someone has died from the flu that can be blamed on Trump. The media is missing out big time. Maybe that will be the October surprise. Headline: "While Trump was spending all of or national efforts mismanaging COVID-19, tens of thousands died from the flu!" Maxine will once again lead the chant, "Impeach poety pi! Impeach poeti pi! Impeach poeti pi!" covid miraculously cured us from the flu, common cold, pnemonia etc etc
