Awe, thanks y'all. I just want to know why. No signs and he had it made. For the love, he was rich.

Sorry for your loss Catch. Its not easy to come to terms with that at times. Took me a while to try and figure out why a friend of mind did it.

Man oh man, y'all are very special and kind for saying what you have and I thank you. Adam, top shelf brother. I know I'm not special, we have all lost. Trying to understand and thankful for you all.

I understand your pain. I lost a friend I’ve known my whole life that way. Just goes to show you, money and success don’t alway mean happiness. I imagine he battled depression for a long time, one doesn’t just make that decision out of the blue. So sorry for your loss

Sorry to hear that, Catch. Our Pastor committed suicide several years ago. It was hard to take but knowing what he was going through, I suppose in his mind, it was the only way out.
Some of the congregation condemned what he did, so I set them straight. You cannot blame someone that is distraught enough to take their own life.
Prayers sent for you and all involved.
May he rest in peace.

He truly was a good ole boy, came from nothing and built a local empire. Had it all according to modern times from hard work. I didn't post this for sympathy, understanding I guess. How could someone who rocked it, was on the top of their game, end it themselves? We were all just street kids and he blossomed, no warning signs. Dag on man, we ain't young anymore. Sorry to hear about your friend. Very shocking to hear this kind of news. How old was he? Have you ever read the poem “Richard Cory” by Edwin Robinson. Google it. The poem reminds me of your friend who had it all.

Tough to hear Jeff, hang in there.
bad part is i believe i do understand it.being tormented for no apparent reason by your own mind wears on oneself.of all people, listening and relating to Robin Williams is when i started to get it.
never had thoughts of it myself, and feel lucky for that.
