Just goes to show you, money and success don’t alway mean happiness. I imagine he battled depression for a long time, one doesn’t just make that decision out of the blue. It was hard to take but knowing what he was going through, I suppose in his mind, it was the only way out. Some of the congregation condemned what he did, so I set them straight. You cannot blame someone that is distraught enough to take their own life. Prayers sent for you and all involved. May he rest in peace. As someone who has gone through trainings, loss, and struggled with the religious aspects, I understand your confusion. Some never will, ignore them. In most cases there were signs but we never understood them, or perceived them as such. Suicide is hard on us left behind to try to understand, one never knows what their last thoughts were. Mental health treatment in the United States is a travesty.
