Wow that’s a great story
He will remember that forever, and that should really boost his confidence and hopefully hook him for life 👍

That's great. Now tell the wife to get back out there and retrieve the tail, beard and spurs! By the time I saw the text and called her they had been burnt up it the boiler. The boys are really living the outdoors.my youngest that shot the Turkey shot 2 deer last season one with 7mm08 the other xbowa, few squirrels with .22 and learned to trap. My 9 year is up to 7 deer lots of squirrels ect.. They cant get enough fishing, shed hunting and now they are excited about Bees. Life is good praise God

He did a great job! It isn't easy killing a turkey with an arrow. A head shot is as good as it goes.

I must be a hard arse. If my wife told my grandson not to shoot something, and he did it anyway, he would lose his bow, lose his bb gun, and anything else that fires projectiles for a year.
Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)
